Several Twitter users complained that they had to pay exorbitant surcharge for Uber when the trains in the Circle Line were at first delayed - then disrupted. Uber users had to pay more than double for ride that would have cost them no more than $20. 2Facebook user JQ Huang said that this was why Uber advertised in MRT stations. His friends who posted on Huang's picture had some of the most hilarious responses. 1
