SINGAPORE: The Land Transportation Authority has removed a total number of 303 bicycles from bicycle parking areas in Admiralty, Tampines, Aljunied, Yishun, Sembawang, and more locations since July 2026.

On Facebook, LTA said: “Don’t let your bicycle overstay its welcome.” With this, the authorities will continue to take further action to solve issues regarding indiscriminately parked or abandoned bicycles around key transport areas.

Furthermore, the authorities also advised the public to check out the MyTransport.SG mobile app, so everyone can identify nearby parking spaces and check if the area allows parking by shared bicycles.

The LTA continues to remind everyone to park properly and always leave space for others. Indeed, parking your bicycles properly helps in keeping public spaces neat and safe. Small and simple actions like these can make a big difference in living a peaceful life in the city.

In separate news, it has also been alarming lately how a growing number of people have been posting other people’s lives online, often at the expense of one’s privacy and basic human decency.
