Man complains about 'inconsiderate' Filipino neighbours putting their plant pots in front of his door, but netizens urge him to settle the matter peacefully
A netizen took to social media to complain about his “Filipino neighbour who is very inconsiderate.”
His chief beef with them is that “They put their plants pots in front of my door” as he considers this to be “not safe” at their address, 10-19 Hougang St 51.
He posted photos of the plants his neighbours had placed.
He captioned one picture by writing, “they live here. 5 room apartment. They still put it there. The potted plants. It's a unpleasant sight. So messy. Town council should know about this. They're so stubborn.
They're PR but don't like when they being told to put it elsewhere. What do you think? Are they civilized people.”
Some commenters on his post found his attitude to be unnecessarily hostile and urged him to settle matters with his neighbours peacefully.

Others took issue with the word “uncivilized.”
One commenter wrote that Filipinos are generally friendly, but this does not appear to be the poster’s experience.
Another netizen argued that it’s not about race.
