'Free bubble tea shut off my rationality' — Ramen shop job offer with employee benefits ad receives praise from netizens

A Ramen shop's advertisement for new hires has been the topic of conversation online, as its employee benefits were showcased in the poster. An online user on Monday (Sept 26) shared a picture of a job hiring advertisement with an online news forum. The poster, featured a Ramen shop and the words, "Join the Takagi Ramen Shop (TRS) family" at the top. Listed under the header was a list of 18 different employee benefits, which included a positive and fun working environment, a 13th-month annual bonus, hospitalisation insurance and clinic visits, a birthday bonus, seasonal holiday gifts, and even free bubble tea and ramen while working. In response to this advertisement, netizens have taken to the comments section to share their two cents on the matter. While some did not want to be naive and therefore countered the job offer with additional clarifications regarding the fine print, such as the length of the probation period, others were drawn in by the free bubble tea and ramen as well as the other benefits.
