Strikes, alcohol, riots! What’s life for foreign workers really like? Are they exploited? Are the NGOs self-serving and over-dramatic? Do we know enough to make a judgment? Join us to explore the issues MARUAH, in partnership with TWC2 and Workfair Singapore, is holding a workshop on Foreign Workers, Justice & Fairness. MARUAH and our partners believe that in the wake of the riot at Little India, we as a society need to fully understand what happened that evening and that the underlying causes of the incident are identified and addressed in a fair and just manner.
