Thio Li Ann is not fit to speak at the Human Rights seminar

by Chin Gay I am disappointed to learn that Prof Thio Li Ann was invited to speak at the Human Rights Seminar. Granted that she has a law degree but her views on homosexuality is appalling and super conservative. Homosexuality has been recognized as a human right in many countries and for a person who is so narrow minded and backward to speak at a human rights seminar organized by EU is simply wrong. Boycott this event at all costs. In my view, EU has taken a step backwards in terms of human rights. Let this day be recorded as a sad day for Singapore.
