A 41-year-old Chinese man, visiting Singapore for the first time , decided to steal because he thought Singapore was a wealthy country. In just two days, he broke into two residences and stole brand-name jewelry worth more than S$100,000 .

6 weeks' jail for Filipino tourist who filmed upskirt videos in Singapore

A Filipino tourist, 27-year-old Usi Christian Jior Orlino, took upskirt videos of six women in under three hours while on holiday in Singapore. Shin Min Daily News says he pleaded guilty to three of the charges in court last week, with the remaining counts taken into consideration during sentencing.
