‘No speak English’ from canteen auntie annoys NUS student, says they should not be working there if cannot speak English

  Singapore — If the National University of Singapore (NUS) is an English-speaking university, does it seem unjust that canteen employees who do not speak English are permitted to work on their premises? GrabFood rider punched & kicked multiple times by couple for cutting in between them, suffers bodily injuries & nose bleed

Singapore — Is former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak in the country at this moment to see his newest grandchild? He might be, but then again, with the border now open, he may already have gone home.

Pictures of Mr Najib and his family were posted on Instagram by his son and daughter yesterday. Like many other families, they have been separated for quite some time now. And it was the first time for Mr Najib and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, to meet their newest grandchild.

‘Excellent news’ as S’pore tightens border controls amid OMICRON variant fears

No cases of Omicron have yet been detected in Singapore, said the Health Ministry (MOH) as it set up pre-emptive measures to reduce the risk of importing and spreading the variant. Read more here.
