MOE announced 2020 school term dates and school holiday dates

SINGAPORE — On Tuesday (Aug. 13), the Ministry of Education (MOE) released the start and end dates for the 2020 school year for all levels, and information on school holidays. The MOE announced that the start of the school year for all primary and secondary schools is on Thursday, Jan. 2, and Friday, Nov. 20 will be the last day. For students in their first year at all junior colleges and at the Millennia Institute, their start date is set for Wednesday, Feb. 5, while the rest of the students will start school on Monday, Jan. 6. Below are the details for school terms and school holidays, organised into school levels:

Primary and Secondary Schools
