It was Jaguar versus Honda in a fight for a parking slot, resulting in traffic buildup as the two drivers refused to let the parking space go. A video uploaded on TikTok by @cx_cxsg on Saturday (July 30) went viral as it showed a typical parking space dispute, only this time, other road users were affected. Based on the TikTok video, it appears that the Honda was in the process of reversing into the parking slot when the Jaguar cut in. The Jaguar's rear was sticking awkwardly out of the slot, indicating that its driver would have difficulty if it tried to continue parking. Meanwhile, a smug-looking man stood beside the vehicle while another woman on the opposite side of the road was engaged in a heated argument with another man. [caption id="attachment_437697" align="aligncenter" width="978"] Photo: TikTok screengrab/cx_cxsg[/caption] In another video, a motorist said behind the camera that the woman was holding up over 20 cars because of the debacle. A man wearing a Singapore Police Force (SPF) lanyard eventually enters the scene and talks to the woman, who begins explaining her side of the story. The man with the SPF lanyard then talks to the other driver's story. [caption id="attachment_437699" align="aligncenter" width="986"] Photo: TikTok screengrab/cx_cxsg[/caption] The video caption noted that the Honda driver "won", implying that the woman got the parking slot in the end. Police presence was confirmed in another short clip as an officers were spotted walking through the traffic caused by the two vehicles. [caption id="attachment_437700" align="aligncenter" width="982"] Photo: TikTok screengrab/cx_cxsg[/caption] "The young road tyrant gave way as soon as he saw the police coming," the caption noted. "He's the one who obviously headed into the lot when the other car was reversing. And then he pretended to act cool!" commented TikTok user FredFlintstone on the video. Netizens noted that the Jaguar driver needed to retake his driving lessons. "Jaguar driver needs to go for a refresher course. We are taught to reverse in for parallel parking, not head first," said TikTok user John Yew. According to the original poster, the incident happened along Cheong Chin Nam Road, near the Al-Azhar Bukit Timah restaurant./TISG https://www.tiktok.com/@cx_cxsg/video/7125779407687552257?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1 https://theindependent.sg/video-woman-chopes-mbs-parking-space-knocks-on-camcar-to-stop-reversing-into-slot-threatens-to-call-police-for-ignoring-her-chope/
