SINGAPORE: Another fire incident occurred in a bedroom unit located in Woodlands, and it was suspected to have started from a power bank that was left on the bed by the tenant. The accident happened on Oct 11, at approximately 9:40 in the evening.
Case details revealed that the female homeowner declared that the bedroom in which the accident took place was rented to a tenant. Unfortunately, she left a power bank on the bed before going out to eat. As reported by Shin Min Daily News, the tenant has returned to Johor Bahru for temporary accommodation because of the impact of the event. Observations stated that the unit was damaged and some walls were blackened by the smoke.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
