Carpark gantry arm hits passing pedestrian on the head — driver witnessing the scene bursts out in laughter

Singapore — A man passing through a car park gantry was sent to the floor after the gantry arm dropped on his head, sparking bursts of laughter from the driver who saw the whole thing. “Do keep a lookout when crossing the road near carpark gantry,” noted Facebook page SG Road vigilante – SGRV on Sunday (Oct 31). It shared a video of a carpark exit in Woodlands where one unaware pedestrian was crossing the area when the arm descended. The driver’s laughing was well-received by members of the online community. “The guy’s laugh funnier than the incident,” noted Facebook user Mark Joseph in a comment that received over 25 likes. “If I got hit like that and was not seriously injured, I sure damn paiseh run away damn fast,” added Facebook user Guek Hoon. Although others noted that the incident could have been painful, they wondered why the man walked under the barrier in the first place. “So many places you don’t walk, you go walk under the barrier?
