Although netizens are amazed by Boram's revenue with a desire to be a YouTuber as well, there has been past accusations that Boram was abused by her parents.
Back in September 2017, Save The Children's local chapter had taken the issue regarding Boram being abused by her family to the court.
They pressed charges against Boram's parents, accusing them of gaining financial profit by putting her in situations that could put her under mental distress.
Videos where she is seen stealing money from her dad's wallet, damaging her favourite doll and acting as if she is pregnant were deemed as negative influence on underage viewers who watch them.
Boram's parents apologised to the public following the outcry and made the videos private.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Family Court upheld the charity's accusations and ordered protective disposition to Boram's parents.
