A silver Honda car burst into flames yesterday after colliding into a road divider near Changi, at Airport Boulevard. A video of the flaming vehicle has since gone viral. The 30-year-old car driver and all four passengers, who are between the ages of 40 and 52, suffered minor injuries and were conveyed to Changi General Hospital. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) noticed that the car was emitting smoke when they arrived at the scene and attended to the injured. The car subsequently caught flames which were put out by the SCDF's water jet and two compressed air foam backpacks. The SCDF is investigating the cause of the fire currently while police investigations are also ongoing.
